Gen. 6; 7
Full Lesson HERE
INTRODUCTION. The descendants of Adam multiplied, and after many years passed, the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great. The thoughts and every imagination of their hearts were evil. Violence and corruption filled the whole earth. God was grieved in his heart that He had made man. He determined to destroy both man and beast whom He had created from the face of the earth by a great flood after 120 years. However, one
righteous man, Noah, found favor in the eyes of the Lord (Gen. 6:1-13).
The Lord instructed Noah to build an ark, a giant boat, in which he and his family would escape the great flood. He gave Noah detailed instructions for the construction of the ark, and Noah did according to all that God commanded him (Gen. 6:14-22).
