INTRODUCTION. God appeared to Abram when he was ninety-nine years old and changed his name to Abraham which means "father of many" or "father of multitudes." God also changed Sarai's name to Sarah which means "princess" (Gen. 17:1-2, 5, 15). Later three men visited Abraham (Gen. 18).
